The Remap charity was founded in 1964 to make customised equipment for people with disabilities. Remap designs, engineers, makes and supplies this unique equipment free of charge, helping those in need to achieve greater independence and to enjoy opportunities that would otherwise be closed to them.
The Remap South Buckinghamshire Panel is a local branch of the national Remap charity. Our experienced and professional engineers, craftsmen and health professionals volunteer their time and expertise, working together to provide innovative, practical solutions to what are often everyday problems encountered by disabled people.
Often simple activities like painting, or getting on or off a canal boat, would be impossible for someone with a disability.
Our engineering solutions increase the ability to communicate, to take up creative hobbies, and to enjoy the freedom to travel.
We give talks about what Remap can do (free of charge) to clubs, societies and medical staff. Details of upcoming talks can be found via our our Events page. To request a talk, please contact us here.
